Diploma in Laboratory Technology
The program that teaches students how to use a variety of laboratory equipment and run tests on blood, body fluids, cells, tissues of the human body and urine. At the end of the course, students will have the technical knowledge on how to collect, examine and analyze these different bodily fluids to help physicians diagnose and treat patients.
Duration: 3 Years
Direct entrants;
- UACE with at least 1 principal pass in either Biology or Chemistry and a subsidiary pass from the other.
- UCE with at least 5 passes in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
Indirect Entry requirements: A Certificate in any of these health related disciplines;
- Nursing/Midwifery
- Environmental Health Sciences
- Medical Laboratory Techniques.
