Diploma in Pharmacy
The program is aimed towards imparting skills and knowledge that could prepare and qualify graduates for positions within pharmaceutical companies or in retail pharmacies. Through their classes, students typically learn about safely processing prescriptions with accuracy, utilizing pharmacy software, inventory control, billing and compounding techniques.
Duration:
3 Years.
Direct Entry requirements;
- UACE with at least 1 principal pass in either Biology or Chemistry and a subsidiary pass from the other.
- UCE with at least 5 passes in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
Indirect Entry requirements: A Certificate in any of these health related disciplines;
- Nursing/Midwifery
- Environmental Health Sciences
- Medical Laboratory Techniques.
